![]() If you want to have bigger cities on consoles we will have to wait for CS2 and hope they will use better engine that will support at least more agents. But I also understand why they dont allow this by default. Basically to play on such big maps, you have to disable most of the gameplay and use it just as a map editor. There are other mods (basically cheats) that allows you to overcome the problems caused by bigger cities (for example no deamnd for buildings, etc) So cims dont move away and factories are not empty because of the problems. ![]() You are installing mods on your own risks (you can not compain it is broken on 25-81 titles) Once you go above this number (expecially with goal to utilize all space for one big city) the game starts breaking down and people would complain even more. ![]() If they add more areas as default, the entire community will be a lot happier, or add 3 different start locations along he highway so you don’t haven to waste 5 areas to get to land that’s perfect then not have any land left over to buy around that area.Ĭlick to expand. The whole game is desgined (from engine limitations like indexing stuff to gamedesign choices how services works) to support 9 titles. I realise that consoles are no where near as powerful as PCs but I would of really thought that wouldn’t stop graphics settings, I mean with 9 squares you can easily ramp up the graphics to make your city look just a little bit better, PCs you can push it to its limits but why can’t we on consoles? Especially Xbox one xs and PlayStation pros, they’re said to be the worlds most powerful consoles yet you can’t choose to use the full potential of the console. I wouldn’t of thought it would be too difficult, just add 25 other squares around your starting position and just copy the game files and so on to each one of the new squares. My proposal for C:O: Make an in-built mod like unlimited money that everyone can activate. You can also build beautiful cities which mostly consist of low density residential. Sometimes you need just this one extra tile to reach a shore or a rail connection. Click to expand.I’m not trying to get in an argument but I thought that services only cover what’s covered by the green of that particular service, meaning 1 crematorium for example doesn’t reach everywhere on your map, you need a few to cover all the areas. Actually noone forces a player to fill all tiles he has unlocked. ![]()
